F**k the World part two

When I was commin up ruff
that wasn't even what you called it
that's why I smoke blunts now
and run with alcholics
i'm getten threats to me
commin from my enemies
in their dreams
is hell where they sending me ?
have I
lost control or just another soul
a car full of motherf**kers when we roll
sippen on that as I sit back
life as a big mack
brothers come up and say
'you did that?'
brotha take your eyes off tha prize
and even when you getten high
don't hesitate to try
cause you could fall off or stay ballin'
ni**as we all in ?
and all my mothaf**kers callen...
f**k tha World...

The game requires that you stay strong. This especially means you show your manliness your done. Of course there are different ways to do this. The big irony is that spitting poetry is one of them. There are many we can created for this but nobody did it any better than Tupac.

F**ck the World

Who you callin' rapist ??
ain't that a bi**h
you devils are so two faced
wanna see me locked in chains
droped in shame
and getten socked by these crooked cops and game
f**kin' with tha young black male
tryin' ta stack bail
and stay away from tha packed jails
told tha judge i'm in danger
and that's why I had that 45 with one in tha chamber
f**k tha World

I don’t share Tupac’s view of the world but I have never been put in jail for rape. You live and learn I guess.

Old School part four

Remember seein Brooklyn go crazy up in the motherf**kin party?
Member how f**kers used to go, "Is Brooklyn in the house?"
and motherf**kers would lose they GOD DAMN MIND
That's the old school to me; that's what I'm sayin (Su-per, Sperm)
I remember goin places that motherf**kers was scared to say
they was from anywhere but Brooklyn; that s**t was the bomb
Back in the motherf**kin old school ni**a
Remember skelly ni**a? Knockin ni**az out the box, poppin boxes?
Member stickball? Member ni**az to run that s**t like that?
Member the block members screamin up at your mom from the window?
(LL Cool J is hard as HELL...)
The ice cream truck, member all the mother...
Member the italian icey's yo?
Yo remember the italian icey's the spanish ni**az comin down
with the coconut icey's and s**t?

Obviously summer in Brooklyn is more fun than the winter, or not

Old School part three

Hahah... remember poppin and lockin to Kurtis Blow, the name belts
And Scott LaRock the Super Hoe back in Latin Quarters
When Slick Rick was spittin La-Di-Da-Di
Gamin the hoochies at the neighborhood block parties, I remem-ber
breakdancin to Melle Mel
Jekyll and Hyde, LL when he Rocks the Bells
Forget the TV, about to hit the streets and do graffiti
Be careful don't let the transit cops see me
It ain't nuttin like the old school!

One of my fascination with Tupac is that we are both the same age. I am like two months older but when he talks about all these people they were the same people that I knew. I remember going to Michigan Football Camp in Ann Arbor before my junior year in high school and I went with a group that would be seniors. We listened to Country music the whole week. The next year when I went with those in my own class it was all rap. How’s that for Old School??

Old School Part 2

Heheh... I had, Shell Toes, and BBD's
A killer crease inside my Lee's when I hit the streets
I'm playin skelly, ring to leavey, or catch a kiss
before the homies in my hood learned to smack a bi**h, I remember
way back, the weak weed they had
Too many seeds in the trey bag
I'm on the train headin uptown, freestylin
with some wild kids from Bucktown, profilin
cause the hoochies was starin, thinkin, "Why them ni**az swearin?"
I'm wonderin if that's her hair, I remember
Stickball, pump the hoochies on the wall
or takin leaks on the steps, stinkin up the hall
Through my childhood, wild as a juvenile
A young ni**a tryin to stay away from Riker's Isle
Me and my homies breakin nights, tryin to keep it true
Out on the roof sippin 90 proof, ain't nuttin like the old school

A laundry list of fun things. What a fun time to be a kid. I am the same age as Tupac, but I grew up in the Suburbs so I didn’t do any of this kind of Old School stuff, or maybe I did, just in a different way.
